Who is The Loom?

I first started connecting with my spirit guide team back in 2018, in the midst of a sudden and unexpected spiritual awakening. My connection started with one guide in particular, who I loving call ‘Ahror’ (pronounced like aurora without the ‘a’ at the end!). Her energy is very soft, loving, and comforting. A very feminine energy, she has journeyed with me for lifetimes as a non-physical guide. Our connection was fuzzy at first, and unclear, as it is for most when you first start cultivating this connection with your guides.

Our Spirit Guides vibration and frequency is very different from ours since they are not embodied in physical form right now and we are. So a big part of your work when you first begin connecting with your guides is to support your mind and body in aligning with their vibration and frequency - and your guides do much of this work to help you. The more you do this, the clearer your connection with them becomes and the more clearly you're able to see them, feel their presence, hear what they're saying, and feel your connection with them as you move through your everyday life.

For quite some time when I would drop in to connect I was only met by Ahror. She would share words of love and guidance with me, talking me through this connection - what it was, what was happening, and how I could deepen it to begin connecting with the others. Slowly with time, I started becoming aware of other beings that were present and I started to get to know them, as well.

My core spirit guide team, loving known as The Loom, consists of three beings that are ever-present in my life and awareness. Each of them has a very different energy and presence and way of communicating. One of the delightful parts of getting to know your guides is experiencing their energy/personality and getting to know them!

In the early days of my spiritual awakening my mind had so much doubt about what was happening. It felt confusing and shattered my entire understanding of life and this reality. Ahror supported me in cultivating trust in this connection in different ways, but one of my favorites and most memorable was when she started communicating with me in different languages. I knew what it felt like to connect with her and hear her so when words and phrases started coming through in other languages, I knew it was her. I spent a lot of time on google translate at the time :)

As I started trusting this connection more and more, I began connecting with more of my guides and getting to know them each individually. Bella Vie is a force - her energy is powerful and bold yet comforting, like a warm hug. She speaks slowly and clearly and with great intention. To be in her presence feels like expansion and groundedness all at once. Tutu's energy feels like Santa Clause, jovial and delightful and ever the jokester. His presence is large and feels like curling up in your favorite blanket. Humor is his favorite mode of communication.

Each of our spirit guides has a speciality, an area of focus that they support you with in this life journey. And your relationship with each guide is different. Some of them you've incarnated with in other lifetimes. Some have only ever guided from non-physical. What is true for all of your guides, though, is that they have your Highest good in mind, always. They only ever lead and teach and guide from a place of unconditional love. And as you cultivate these connections, you will undoubtedly awaken your own remembering of non-physical dimensions of this life and yourself.
